I am extremely enthusiastic about yoga, primarily because I have experienced the profound effects of yoga both on and off the mat. Learning from Duncan Peak (the creator of Power Living), Troy Abraham, Simon Park, and Gwyn Williams (the creator of ZenThai Shiatsu), I have accumulated over 500 hours of training in asana, philosophy, 5-element theory, and sequencing.
I believe that cultivating a conscious connection to our bodies can unlock potential for physical, mental and emotional healing. The way you move reflects the way you think. Yoga is a dynamic dance between breath, movement and stillness where transitions are as important as the postures themselves.
The by-product of the practice includes:
Improved strength & flexibility
Correction of posture and structural alignment Increased blood flow
Stimulation of the lymphatic system
Regulation of the adrenals assisting with deeper sleep Somatic and kinesthetic awareness
Vinyasa
Vinyasa, is a breath initiated practice that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards what is sacred, or most important to us. No two classes are ever alike, suitable for all levels. Encouraging creativity, mobile joints and a balance of strength and flexibility. Suitable for practitioners of all levels.
Yin
A practice of restoration and deep stillness, utilising time for opening of the joints and gently lengthening connective tissue. Suitable for practitioners of all levels.
Zenthai flow
Vinyasa-style asana practice infused with the wisdom of Chinese Medicine’s Five Element theory. Each session is thoughtfully designed to foster harmony among the Five Elements, utilising asana, breathwork, and Tai Chi movements to stimulate and elongate meridian pathways within the body’s fascial network. Zenthai Flow gently guides participants toward vitality, equilibrium, and serenity. Suitable for practitioners of all levels.
Myofascial Release
A myofascial release group class focuses on using tools like foam rollers, blocks and trigger balls to release tension in the body’s fascial network. Participants learn techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Suitable for all fitness levels, the class offers guided instruction and self-directed exploration to target specific areas of tightness and restriction.
